Young At Heart Productions Announces the Making of: Discovering The Beating Path

Chicago, Illinois- Young At Heart Productions are proud to announce the making of, Discovering The Beating Path. A cancer/ travel documentary starring Evan Bartlett, and Elijah Accola. Directed by Evan Bartlett.

Discovering the Beating Path will explore what the cancer community offers, whether it is camps, support, and or success stories. It will follow two survivors as they embark on a journey across the West. It will be a road trip from Chicago to California and back. On the road they will be couch surfing, and documenting all the new experiences they encounter. They will show how the cancer camps provide a positive environment, and that everyone has loving heart. The success stories will provide hope, and inspiration to all. By going to camps, and talking to survivors will show that there is a life after treatment.

Catherine Galligan, director of patient navigation services for the American Cancer Society’s Illinois Division, said “I think it always helps to have people who have been through the disease and treatment to stand up and say that it is survivable,” Galligan said. “It is very helpful for any patient to know that they are
not alone.”
