The Musella Foundation For Brain Tumor Research & Information, Inc announces that it has awarded 2 grants for brain tumor research:

 

$5,000 to Dr. F. Avraham Dilmanian at Brookhaven National Lab, NY, for the project: "Carbon Ion Microbeam Radiation Therapy of High Grade Gliomas". We partnered with Stony Brook Medical School and the Stony Brook University to award this grant which totaled $80,000.

 

$2,000 to the Weill Cornell Medical College Dept Neurological Surgery for the project: "Targeted Radio-Immunotherapy for Malignant Brainstem Glioma"
