UCLA Ninth Annual Brain Tumor Conference.

Join brain tumor survivors, families, friends and healthcare professional at the UCLA Ninth Annual Brain Tumor Conference. This free conference will offer participants the opportunity to hear leading healthcare professionals speak about the latest treatments for adult brain tumors and also give the opportunity to learn about community resources that cater to patient, family and caregiver needs.
There will be sessions covering topics on brain tumors such as neurosurgery, chemotherapy, radiation, experimental treatments, imaging, complementary medicine, nutrition, neuropsychology, language impairments, legal issues, in-depth information on brain tumor types, symptom management and psychosocial support. We will also have free, limited consult sessions with healthcare professionals from neuro-oncology, neurosurgery, radiation oncology, neuropathology, neuro-radiology and social work.
The Ninth Annual Brain Tumor Conference will take place at UCLA Covel Commons, 330 DeNeve Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90095 on April 10-11, 2009.
