Have questions? Below are some answers to the frequently asked questions we've been hearing. If you still have questions, please call NBTF at 800.934.2873 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
1. What is a teleconference?
A teleconference is like sitting in a big room listening to a presentation, except that the 'room' is your phone. All you really need is a telephone and a quiet place to listen.
2. Will I be able to ask questions?
The speaker usually talks for about 40 minutes. After that, you will have an opportunity to ask questions. Get your answers straight from the professionals!
3. Is this free?
About 5 days prior to the teleconference, you will be given a toll-free number to call. If you are calling from a land-line, it will be free. If you are using a cell phone, this will still use minutes like any other call.
4. Are there slides for the presentation?
Yes. About 1-2 days prior to the teleconference, we will put the slides onto our website and you can download them to view during the presentation. All you'll need is Adobe Acrobat Viewer. There will also be an option for people with high-speed internet to view the slides live during the presentation. This information will be given out when we send out the dial-in number.
5. I can't listen in during the scheduled time. Will I be able to hear a recording of the presentation?
Yes. We will have the recorded audio and slides available on our website about 1-2 weeks after each teleconference.
6. What if a group of us want to listen?
That's great! If you have a phone that can be put on speaker, you can gather people into a room and listen via speakerphone.
