Custer & Jefferson Official Host of Swingtime’s Dinner Party Dinner Party Includes Top Celebrities, Live and Silent Auctions and Entertainment

(West Palm Beach, FL) – Swingtime--A Pro-Celebrity Pro-Am Tennis & Golf Tournament--Benefiting the Tim & Tom Gullikson Foundation (TTGF) has announced that the law firm of Custer & Jefferson as the Official Host of the Saturday Evening Dinner Party on Saturday, December 14, 2002 at Ibis Golf & Country Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. “We are excited about the opportunity to be associated with such a prestigious event that benefits such a wonderful cause,” said Andy Custer of Custer & Jefferson.

CBS Sports’ Brett Haber and actress Robin Givens will serve as the Masters of Ceremonies for this special evening, which will include celebrity attendees, a live and silent auction, three-course meal and entertainment. Celebrities attending include tennis stars Andy Roddick, Jim Courier, Stan Smith, Todd Martin, Mary Joe Fernandez, Amanda Coetzer, Corina Morariu, NFL Hall of Famer Paul Warfield, Olympic Track Legend Bob Beamon, actress Tava Smiley and pop singer and actress Mandy Moore. Tom Gullikson, former professional tennis player and chairman of the Tim & Tom Gullikson Foundation, will host the evening. OOP BOP SH’BAM will entertain the guests with their classic swing sound.

The live and silent auctions will include: a behind-the-scenes look at the hit television show “Friends” and the opportunity to meet Matthew Perry; a private hitting sessions with Andy Roddick; a Keith Hernandez coaching session for your child’s little league team; President’s Box Seats for The US Open; a diamond pendant from Tiffany & Co.; an original piece of artwork from Sal Principe; a ride in the Goodyear Blimp; a ride on the Zamboni during a Florida Panthers’ game; Movado watches; jewelry donated by Jennifer Capriati; numerous domestic and international vacations; and autographed items from Andre Aggasi, Lance Armstrong, Venus and Serena Williams, Derek Jeter and Anna Kournikova. Professional auctioneer Neil Saffer will be conducting the Live Auction.

Swingtime also features tennis stars and other celebrities playing with and against amateurs in tennis and golf. There is also a Tennis Exhibition that will consist of four matches, with one match featuring Andy Roddick.

The annual event, which is in its fourth year, has raised revenues and significantly increased awareness of the Foundation’s mission – to assist brain-tumor patients and their families manage the physical, emotional and social challenges presented by the illness. The Tim & Tom Gullikson Foundation was founded in 1995 by Tim Gullikson, former tennis professional and coach of Pete Sampras, and his identical twin brother, Tom Gullikson, a former tennis professional, coach and captain of the United States Davis Cup team. Tim was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 1995 and lost his battle with the illness in 1996 at the age of 44. (cont)
