Veteran players say longevity is no accident

By Phillip B. Wilson, Indianapolis Star

Mark Rypien has several nicknames with the Indianapolis Colts. Some affectionately call him "Timer," short for old-timer. Others call him "Grandpa." Tight end Marcus Pollard refers to the 38-year-old backup quarterback as "Pappy."
