- Question: An 8-year-old family member has just been diagnosed with a brain tumor behind his left eye. The neurologist says it appears to be calcified on the MRI. What does this mean in terms of the long term prognosis for this child?
There is a big difference between tumors on the optic nerve, in the brain, or in the coverings of the brain. Need more info.
