Taxol will be administered as a one-hour IV infusion starting at an initial study dose of 175 mg/m2/day, once a week for a total of six doses during radiation therapy. The dose levels for this study are (175, 200, 225, 250 and +25 thereafter.
Cohorts of three patients will be studied at each dose. Patients can chose to receive maintenance Taxol given at the same dose, every 3 weeks for a total of eight additional doses. |
