Prior Surgery is Allowed Prior Radiation is Not Allowed Prior Chemotherapy is Not Allowed The purpose of this study is to determine if the addition of a device called NovoTTF-100A given with standard chemotherapy drug called Temozolomide (Temodar) is more effective than when Temozolomide is given alone. The NovoTTF-100A device is a portable battery operated device which produces Tumor Treating Fields (TTFields) within the human body through surface electrodes. It is believed that with very low intensity, intermediate frequency electric fields (TTFields) will stunt the growth of tumor cells. |
